My New House

Hello everyone; sorry it’s been a while but there has been a lot going on around here!

The other day I went to see my new house.

Liz & Jon have been many times but this was the first time I got to see it. I was so ready to explore!

It has a nice yard. There were lots of interesting smells.

I could tell there had been some dogs there before me! So of course I had to leave them a little message.

Once that was taken care of, I was ready to go inside. It was totally open so I got to run around everywhere. Well almost everywhere. Liz told me to get out of the fireplace.

And then she made me pose of course. I know I’m cute but I just wanted to get on with it!

Liz’s friend came over with her new baby. He is 3 weeks old. I had never seen a baby that small before. I was like, “What the heck is that thing?”

He did not hold my interest for long and soon after that he left.

I have given the new house my stamp of approval, though!

We will probably move in there in August sometime. Liz said there is a lot of work that needs to be done first!

    Hey Henri,

That is the neatest house. I love houses like that. It looks like it might have been built in the 20’s. It has a lot of neat stuff, hardwod floors, built in bookcases, a fireplace to keep your little tooshie warm in the winter, and look at those great windows!

You will have a great time there.

Hey, Henry come by my blog. I have something for you.

  3. Your house looks very nice! Way better than our yardless apartment. You are also incredibly cute!

Adorable and I love, love, LOVE your house! Depending on your style it could go any way – Post modern, craftsman, spanish, etc – Great house, great bones. Love the wood floors , the arched doorways, the built ins – but…what’s the kitchen look like?

Thanks, guys! I’m excited not to have to go up and down stairs every time I want to go outside.

Kathryn, you are good. The house was built in 1926.

And the kitchen…well, I didn’t go in there much, but it’s an old kitchen with black and white tiles, and an ancient stove…

  6. That looks gorgeous! Lucky. The built ins are really cool. Looks like a nice bungalow. Sort of Art Deco, eh? When was it built? Hugo was wondering. LOL.
