A Walk at Sunset

If you have been reading this blog for a while, you will know that I love my walks.  They are my favorite part of my days!  Seriously, all Liz has to do is say the word and I start dancing around the house like a crazy dog.

This weekend we went down to the beach at the end of Seacoast Avenue and had a lovely walk at sunset with our friends who were visiting.  I wanted to take a picture of me with them, but Liz forgot.  So here I am on the beach instead:

Isn’t it strange how instead of red eye, dogs in flash photos get green eye?  I think I look a little posessed here…and also in this one, only now my eyes are red:

This one is a bit more flattering:

After the photo shoot I was finally free to run into the night!  And I did:

How was your weekend?  I hope you had a nice one, too!

My New House

Hello everyone; sorry it’s been a while but there has been a lot going on around here!

The other day I went to see my new house.

Liz & Jon have been many times but this was the first time I got to see it. I was so ready to explore!

It has a nice yard. There were lots of interesting smells.

I could tell there had been some dogs there before me! So of course I had to leave them a little message.

Once that was taken care of, I was ready to go inside. It was totally open so I got to run around everywhere. Well almost everywhere. Liz told me to get out of the fireplace.

And then she made me pose of course. I know I’m cute but I just wanted to get on with it!

Liz’s friend came over with her new baby. He is 3 weeks old. I had never seen a baby that small before. I was like, “What the heck is that thing?”

He did not hold my interest for long and soon after that he left.

I have given the new house my stamp of approval, though!

We will probably move in there in August sometime. Liz said there is a lot of work that needs to be done first!

Sewing with Liz and Kristin

Last week, Liz and Kristin decided to get together to design some pillows. They said they are going to start a little business doing this. So, as is my duty, I accompanied them into the craft room, and sat between them on the floor.

For some reason they seemed to think I was in the way, so I retired to this chair to supervise:

But conditions soon deteriorated:

They swore it helped them to envision the final outcome, but somehow I don’t think so…
